A native of Hamburg, Germany, Heiner began his career as a Commercial Artist. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1965 and opened an art studio in Michigan. Currently, he paints and sculpts full time interrupted only by periodic workshops for interested students. His medium is varied including watercolor, oils and bronze. He is the winner of seven Duck and Trout Stamps and is the featured artist at numerous national shows where he routinely is awarded "Best of Show." Heiner admires "Artists who can convincingly convey an image to others in a simplistic manner. French Impression is the single largest influence in my art." ENJOY!!!
