Born and raised in British Columbia where he lives today, Ron Parker is recognized as one of the finest wildlife artists in North America. His original acrylic paintings are avidly sought after and most of the limited edition reproduction prints of his work have sold out.Ron has been featured in many major publications including Wildlife Art News, US Art and Art Impressions magazine. Five of his paintings have been selected for exhibition in the Birds in Art show at the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum. He was one of twelve artists featured in the book From the Wild and twenty five of his paintings are featured in Voices from the Wild published by Raincoast Books. In the summer of 1999 Ron's new book, Rocky Mountain Wildlife, was released by Raincoast Books. Ron has spent much of his time exploring and photographing wild places throughout the world — from the Northwest Territories to Africa and Costa Rica.
